This piece was inspired by the struggle of black people during the civil rights movement. The words around him serve as the obstacles to equality. I painted the piece and wrote in small letters "walk talk act" in places where black would be.
Tiki Sculpture:

This piece was meant to look like the tiki god Kane, as shown by the leaf like hair structures. I used methods such as coiling and slipping and scoring to create my piece.
Speak:
media: watercolor
This piece was inspired by how much I dislike censorship, and what it feels like to not be able to speak your mind. I used a 12 piece watercolor set to paint it.
